A) SUPPORTING LEATHERWORKS
Leather (not webbing) belt. Leather or webbing Y straps. Leather or webbing equipment straps. Choose 1 of the 2, but all leatherwork must be black.

B) BELT-MOUNTED EQUIPMENT
To be worn during combat: K98 Pouches either stitched or riveted. Straight or folding shovel in any cover. Bayonet in leather or webbing frog. Green or tan bread bag. With attached water bottle and mess tin. Gasmask canister and SS camo zeltbahn.

Hand Grenade

A grenade can be carried in the belt. You stick them diagonally near your belt buckle. Ensure that it's comfortable.

Trench Knife
To be carried in your uniform in the front button row.

K98 Layout
Below you can see the standard layout for a panzer grenadier using a K98 rifle. As you can see, the bayonet is placed on top of the shovel. Also, you will notice that no mess tin is worn, reason for this is that this usually only was worn in combination with a A-frame, when full combat order was worn, but can also be worn next to the water bottle.
Note: Only NCOs from Unterscharfuhrer and up, are allowed to fight with MP 40 and they only may wear MP 40 ammo pouches. All other ranks fight with a K 98 or an MG 34 / 42.


The MG Layout
Below you see the standard layout for a MG gunner. Note that regard of his rank an MG gunner, next to an NCO/ CO, is allowed to wear a pistol.
